Launching A Shadow in the Past by Melanie Robertson-King

It’s been a long road, but today we’re helping Melanie Robertson-King celebrate the publication of her debut novel.  Here’s what she had to say:

After two successful physical launches, it’s time to take ‘the show on the virtual road’. A Shadow in the Past debuted at the Kansas Book Festival on September 15, 2012 and I was in attendance to witness it. Wow!

The following Saturday, September 22, I launched my book in my hometown of Brockville, Ontario as part of The Wedgewood Author Series. Again, A Shadow in the Past was well received and the folks who came were great moral support.

So, today marks the beginning of my A Shadow in the Past International Blog Tour. I’ve never been one to do things by halves and I’ll be making 21 stops around the world between today and October 12 when I wrap things up at the fun Author Roast & Toast.

What’s A Shadow in the Past all about you ask?

Ancient Scottish legends become a reality when Sarah Shand finds herself transported back to the Victorian Era. She falls for the handsome Laird of Weetshill, but will he simply be the next to break her heart? After all, he is spoken for…

Hi Melanie – wishing you al the very best with the novel. What lovely Scots dialogue. My Granny always said ‘the morn’ and also ‘the morn’s morn’ which I still think sounds way better than ‘tomorrow morning’!
